Miami, Florida | Summer Olympics 2044
Miami, officially the City of Miami, is a metropolis located in southeastern Florida in the United States. It is the third most populous metropolis on the East coast of the United States, and it is the seventh largest in the country. The city has the third tallest skyline in the U.S. with over 300 high-rises, 55 of which exceed 491 ft (150 m).
The Tequesta tribe occupied the Miami area for around 2,000 years before contact with Europeans. A village of hundreds of people, dating to 500–600 B.C., was located at the mouth of…

Specifically after learning that Experimental Jetset design the logo to be…
In 1995 Microsoft introduces their new internet browsing software, Internet Explorer. Over the next few years Internet Explorer’s logo would change in layout but stay relatively similar to the original. It wasn’t until 1997 that the brand changed form a heavy, text centered logo, to just…
The company Thinx, or SheThinx, specializes in feminine hygiene clothing products, specifically their signature period proof underwear. What I love about this companies logo, but more specifically their branding and aesthetic direction, is the way they use type choices, color and comforting imagery to de-stigmatize a topic that many would find somewhat taboo.

Zero Waste Living:
The Riot Grrrl Movement:
The topic I am choosing to use for this project is “The Basics of the Zero Waste Movement and How it Helps our Planet.” The way this lifestyle is promoted makes it feel unattainable and unaffordable, which makes those who want to change their waste habits feel it is impossible. I want my audience to be able to easily understand the information I present to them without feeling overwhelmed. And I want the concept of Zero Waste living to feel attainable for everyone. There are…
